The incident took place around 7:24 a.m. Friday on Grasslands Road in Mount Pleasant after the bus, heading west up a hill near the Westchester Community College, skidded on ice, said Mount Pleasant Police Capt. Michael Pierce.
After skidding, the bus struck a utility pole, and then skidded back down Grasslands Road before it ran into an embankment which stopped the bus, he said.
A total of four people were on the bus, including two teenagers who received minor injuries, a monitor, who suffered a broken leg, and the bus driver, who was not injured, Pierce said.
All were taken to Westchester Medical Center for treatment, he added.
Police were not sure which school the bus was from. Pierce said it is owned by Beverly Hills Limo and operated by Royal Coach Lines.
